In the cup

Breakfast tea as it should be: strong enough to stand up to milk, rustic and sweet underneath. Assam, Ceylon and second-flush Darjeeling that do the morning without fuss.

In the cup

Black tea, medium caffeine. Malty, fruity, sweet. Brisk, with a medium-light body and a sweetness underneath that keeps it from going harsh.

How to brew it

Use 2.5 g of leaf for 12 oz of water at 195°F. Steep 5 to 7 minutes. Go long if you're adding milk.
